Common Questions

Sign Company FAQ

How long does it take to get a new business sign made?

For simpler signs, the process typically takes 2–3 weeks from design approval to installation. More complex or permitted signs — like channel letters or monument signs — generally take 4–8 weeks. We’ll give you an accurate timeline upfront based on your specific project.

How much does a business sign cost?

Cost varies by size, materials, and lighting. Simple signs can start around a few hundred dollars; large illuminated channel letters or monument signs range from several thousand and up. We offer free estimates with no obligation — contact Rick directly for an accurate quote.

Do you handle permits?

Yes — we handle all city permits and HOA approvals as part of our service. Most businesses don’t realize permits are required for many sign types. We’ve navigated Orange County’s permitting process for 40+ years, so you don’t have to.

Do you fabricate signs in-house?

Yes. Design, fabrication, and installation are all done by our own team — no subcontractors. That means tighter quality control, faster turnaround, and direct communication with Rick throughout your entire project.

What is the difference between front-lit and reverse-lit channel letters?

Front-lit letters shine outward through a translucent face — the most common and visible style. Reverse-lit (halo lit) letters glow from behind, casting a soft light around each letter for a more upscale, premium look. See all channel letter styles → We’ll walk you through both options during your free consultation.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Orange County and Southern California — Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and beyond. If your business is in the greater Los Angeles or Orange County area, we can help.

Anaheim Signs offers emergency sign service, sign making, installation, and licensed sign contracting. We provide free estimates. Deposits are required to begin a project, and we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

Sign removal and lighting or replacement needs vary by the condition of the sign and site access. Maintenance is recommended on a regular schedule, as sunlight can fade outdoor signs over time.
